Pre-Delivery Checklist

To create a standardized delivery for all TrueCar+ vehicles, we want our delivery drivers to follow a specific protocol before bringing the car to the consumer to ensure a pleasant, informative experience for the consumer.

Complete this checklist for all New and Used vehicles.

• Exterior Overview

• Review the exterior of the vehicle with the customer to make sure it is clean and damage-free

• If there is a keyless entry, show this to the customer

• Open the gas tank, show the customer where the gas tank is located on the vehicle

• Pop the trunk, show the customer where the spare tire/wheel jack are located

• Interior Overview

  • Have the customer sit in the drivers seat of their new vehicle

  • Review the interior of the vehicle with the customer to make sure it is clean and damage-free.

  • Show the customer how to turn on the vehicle

  • Infotainment

    • Bluetooth Phone Setup

    • WiFi (if applicable)

    • Heating/Cooling

    • GPS Navigation

    • Radio - how to set stations

    • Charging ports

  • Car Functionality

    • Windshield Wipers

    • Indicators

    • Gear Shifter

    • Lock/Unlock

    • Keyless Entry

    • Turning on/off the vehicle

    • High beam control

    • Vehicle Presentation

    • Adjust Seats

    • Sun/Moonroof (if applicable)

  • Safety Features

    • Blind Spot Warning

    • Smart Braking Support

    • Lane Departure Warnings

    • Cruise Control

    • How to find spare tire and jack
